The universe was created out of nothing by means of God’s Word (Genesis 1:1). Each act of creation begins with the words “And God said.” On the 6th day the Creator’s work culminates with the first man and woman, Adam and Eve (Genesis 1:26-27) in 3924 BCE. We learn that the first humans are made in God’s image and that God spoke to them. This “one language”, Hebrew, was used by all up to the time of Nimrod who ordered the construction of the Tower of Babel. Continue reading
